SUSTAINABILITY: THREE COMPACTORS IN THE RHO EXHIBITION DISTRICT

Fiera Milano restarts under the sign of sustainability with a new project in collaboration with Coripet. Starting from Sunday 5 September with Supersalone 2021, the special event of Salone del Mobile.Milano, and Homi, Salone degli Stili di Vita, three eco-compactors will be positioned in the Rho exhibition district outside the halls 1-3, 6-10 and 9-11, where anyone can put in their own empty PET plastic bottle. All the bottles collected will be recycled by Coripet: the recycled PET (rPET) will be used to make other bottles, according to the model "bottle to bottle", in line with the SUP Directive, the European standard on reducing the impact of plastic products in the environment.
