Fiera Milano SpA. is the leading trade fair organiser in Italy and one of the largest in the world. It started trading on 1 October 2000 and has been listed on the Electronic Equity Market of Borsa Italiana (STAR segment) since 12 December 2002. Fiera Milano SpA. heads up a group of companies operating in the following business areas:

• management of exhibition spaces and provision of essential exhibition services
• provision of other value-added services
• organisation of trade fairs and conferences

Fiera Milano can boast a portfolio of professional shows that is unique in terms of quality and variety of events. It hosts some seventy shows (of which about one third directly organized) and 30,000 exhibitors every year, and it has an exhibition infrastructure to rival anything else in the international trade fair market.

Most notably, the new fieramilano exhibition centre, which was created with an investment of €755 million from the Fiera Milano Foundation, is one of the leading centres in the world for the quality of the spaces, technology, logistics and size (345,000 m² gross covered area and 60,000 m2 outside).
The new complex is run alongside the ‘traditional’ fieramilanocity city site.

The third big plus for Fiera Milano is the MIC-Milano Convention Centre, currently the largest congress centre in Italy and which, once extension work has finished (planned for the end of 2010) will become the largest congress centre in Europe as regards capacity (being able to host 18,000 participants) and spatial flexibility.
