Only those holding a pass can gain admission to Fiera Milano. Individuals and vehicles must be issued a pass. Validity of the pass is based on specific event dates. Different types of passes are issued for various phases of the event: set-up/breakdown and exhibition. For set-up and breakdown phases, Fiera Milano sends exhibitors an e-mail which includes a link, where staff as well as the vehicles to be used for set-up and breakdown may be registered. Instructions including dates and times for set-up and breakdown operations may also be viewed via the same link.

Additional permits for both vehicles as well as individuals may also be issued by the Logistics Services desk (located on the ground floor of the east connection building for the fieramilano exhibition complex; at the Teodorico Gate for the fieramilanocity complex). 

Freight agents
Logistical services are handled by Expotrans and Italia Logistica (only for fieramilano fairground), which provide all services related to transport, receiving, and forwarding of merchandise and materials, as well as customs clearance of the materials being exhibited. The service begins upon arrival of materials at the exhibition complex and ends at the booths and vice versa.
