Every two years (those ending in even numbers), over 90,000 operators come from all over the world to Milan, for an exhibition dedicated to woodworking technology and furniture supplies - the most important expo for the sector worldwide. Xylexpo is the only opportunity to see entire new production lines - the technology and the product - in a totally innovative layout.
During Xylexpo, from 4th to 9th May, fieramilano will host a major event, open to the public:BOSCO IN FIERA - WOODS IN THE FAIR Pavilion 14 will be all about wood. For 'Bosco in Fiera' a natural landscape of three thousand square meters will be recreated, with fully grown trees and a programme of guided tours, events, theatre, chainsaw sculptures, exhibitions, workshops for small children, kids and families, plus the "Woodman's Biathlon", a demonstration of woodland skills.
On Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th May, "Bosco in Fiera" will be open to the general public, free entry.
