Milan, 13th June 2012– For the presentation of “Lombardia Food and Wine 2012” project for the promotion of Lombardy’s agro-food products on foreign markets, Regione Lombardia - Direzione Agricoltura and Unioncamere Lombardia, in cooperation with Promos and Fiera Milano, has held today in Milan, at Regione Lombardia office, the workshop entitled “Business opportunities for agro-food companies and professional hospitality”.
The event hosted, among the others, Giulio De Capitani, Councilor for Agriculture at Regione Lombardia, Rosangela Morana, Vice-Director D.G Agriculture at Regione Lombaria, and Renato Montalbetti, Manager at Area Imprese Unioncamere Lombardia. It was also a meeting and exchange moment for one of the driving sectors of Lombardy’s economy. The workshop also offered the occasion to present all initiatives aiming at promoting Lombardy’s food & hospitality industry at an international level, as well as the business opportunities currently offered by some of the most strategic foreign markets.
In particular, the "Lombardia Food & Wine 2012" project aims at helping and supporting Lombardy’s agro-food companies in Russia (Moscow), Brazil (Sao Paolo), China (Shanghai and Guangzhou), and the U.S.A. (Washington). The first step of the project implies the participation at Summer Fancy Food in Washington, from June 17th through 19th.
