Milan, May 31st, 2012. Fiera Milano rallies around the population affected by last week's earthquake and the aftershocks of recent days. The Milan trade fair company has decided to support companies from the provinces of Mantua, Ferrara, Modena and Reggio Emilia exhibiting at this fall’s exhibitions organized by Fiera Milano, Macef (September 6th  to 9th ), MIPAP (September 22nd  to 24th ), Sicurezza (November 7th  to 9th ), and Chibi Mart Inverno (November 16th  to 19th ).

Exhibitors coming from areas affected by earthquake will benefit from a 1,000 euro contribution to be used for exhibition services. "We will help companies - says Enrico Pazzali, CEO at Fiera Milano – by ensuring them the opportunity to take part at trade exhibitions which, in a difficult moment like this, represent a particularly effective tool for recovery".

"The initiative - says Michele Perini, president at Fiera Milano - is in line with the tradition of solidarity which characterizes the Italian business sectors. Solidarity is in the DNA of Fiera Milano, and we are proud to help the entrepreneurs from one of the most valuable economic systems of our country".

These projects follow the “Grana della solidarietà” operation. In these days, within MiCo (Milano Congressi) exhibition areas, where the Families’Meeting is being held, 3,000 Grana Padano cheeses are offered for sale to help farms and dairy plants affected by the earthquake.

Thanks to this project, organized by Coldiretti in collaboration with Fiera Milano Congressi and Fondazione Milano Famiglie 2012, the 50,000 visitors expected at the Families’ Meeting, including many from abroad will be able to buy "Grana della solidarietà" and make a true act of solidarity.
