
A significant and increasing part of Fiera Milano business is carried out abroad, particularly in China, Brazil, India, Russia, Turkey, South Africa and Singapore. A flexible internationalisation strategy has been adopted which involves corporate partnerships (such as the one with the Hannover Trade Fair in China and India in 2008), acquisitions (such as the Brazilian trade fair operator Cipa in 2011 and the trade fair companies Interteks in Turkey and Cape Gourmet Food Festival in South Africa), commercial agreements and direct presence (OOO Fiera Milano has been set up in Russia).
