Italo – Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A. is the first private operator on the Italian high speed rail network.
 
With its fleet of 25 trains Italo AGV 575 and 17 Italo EVO. The first 4 EVO trains are operative from December 2017. Untill the first half of 2018 others 8 EVO will debut in fleet and the last 5 will be operative since 2019. All the complete fleet is made by Alstom Group and travels along the Italian high-speed rail network which comprises 14 cities and 19 stations: Salerno, Napoli Afragola, Napoli Centrale, Roma Termini, Roma Tiburtina, Firenze Santa Maria Novella, Bologna, Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana, Milano Rogoredo, Milano Centrale, Torino Porta Nuova, Torino Porta Susa, Padova, Rovigo, Verona Porta Nuova, Venezia Mestre, Venezia Santa Lucia, Brescia and Ferrara.
 
From the first of May Italo EVO will cover new routes like Torino – Milano – Venezia with stops in Brescia, Desenzano-Sirmione (from June), Peschiera del Garda, Verona Porta Nuova, Vicenza, Padova e Venezia Mestre. Italo also provides its travellers with an innovative intermodal transport service, ItaloBus, which combines bus and rail routes connecting Reggio Emilia AV Mediopadana to Parma, Cremona, Modena and Mantova; Milano Rogoredo to Bergamo, Capriate and Orio al Serio airport; Salerno to Picerno, Potenza, Ferrandina, Matera, Frascineto (Castrovillari), Sala Consilina, Lauria and Cosenza; Verona Porta Nuova to Rovereto, Trento, Cavalese, Predazzo, Moena, Vigo di Fassa, Pozza di Fassa e Canazei. Italo, which always supports and sponsors the most remarkable Italian cultural events, gives its travelers the chance to reach the most important art heritage and touristic cities throughout Italy.
 
Italo Ticket are available through all the Italo sales channel: italotreno.it website; italotreno app for mobile devices, Pronto Italo Contact Center (06.07.08), authorized travel agencies and self-service ticket sales machine in all stations covered by Italo train service.
