
The 2010 edition of Greenergy Expo (renewable energy resources), EnerSolar+ (photovoltaic and thermal solar energy), PV Tech (production technologies and machinery for the photovoltaic industry) and Invex (inverters) which took place from the 17th-19th November at Fieramilano, and which closed with outcomes higher than those expected.
The exhibitions were part of the larger trade-fair event which also involved HTE (innovative technologies), Robotica (service robots), WEM Expo (manufacturing industry for windings, insulation and electric motors), and EIV (intelligent vehicles and electric transport industry), which collectively were frequented by some 29,300 visitors from 74 countries. Greenergy Expo, EnerSolar+, PV Tech and Invex were conducted over 20,000m2 of exhibition floor space, and involved over 400 exhibitors, including the leading Italian and foreign sector companies, from 13 different countries.
During the course of the trade-fairs the sixty congress sessions which involved participation by 407 qualified speakers excited particular interest. Amongst the subjects tackled: markets and research regards photovoltaic and thermal solar energy, technology within the photovoltaic supply chain, biogas market development, prospects for cogeneration energy, wood biomass and clean energy, technologies and laws regards geothermic and small hydroelectric installations.
